I own a 2012 jetta and the car has been in the shop 3 weeks due to a door lock issue. door lock wouldn't unlock, now it won't lock. vw is backordered on parts so it's been 3 weeks and no car. they need to replace it. apparently a common problem as no parts available to fix this.. This is a 2013 volkswagen jetta se 2.5l. there appears to be a problem with the door locks. they make a clicking sound. it usually just happens when the car slows down or comes to a complete stop.
