So i go to close my driver door and it bounces back open instead of clicking shut. seems the little latch has no springyness or snap-ability anymore. it is unaffected by the key fob, key, door handle, or my finger trying to make it work. any suggestions before i start taking my door apart?. We stopped and tried to fix the problem, but the car door won’t close or stay shut. the first thing that came to mind was a child safely lock, but those are only in the back doors, not the front. i thought perhaps the door had froze, but after thawing the car out in the garage i was still left with the same problem..
