Fuel door won't open vw mkiv-a4 tdis (ve and pd) i this intermittent problem and as some have mentioned already, you can access the cable (which can be pulled) to open the fuel door.. Driver side rear door won't open, it's a 2006 tdi. was recently in a body shop to replace the rear door skin (scratched and slightly dented in a parking lot).. I have a 2010 vw jetta....the left rear door wont open from the outside or inside handle....got the door panel off from - answered by a verified vw mechanic. the passenger side door of my '03 vw jetta sportswagon won't open from the inside.
